NeuroMove uses Google's Mediapipe models (pose landmark detection) to intelligently analyse the way you complete exercises for Parkinson's Disease.
Parkinson's Disease (PD) is the 2nd most common disease related to cognitive function after Alzheimer's disease. However, it receives much less public awareness and support, despite having a higher impact on people's lives.
NeuroMove is designed to help patients properly perform their PD exercises. Proper completion of these are crucial in maintaining everyday function and slowing the progression of the disease.
Currently, there is a limited selection of 3 exercises as a proof of concept. The user will be guided through the exercises and be corrected if they are performed insufficiently or incorrectly. Video recordings are taken for fine tuning and analytical purposes. We will never sell your data nor share it with 3rd parties or use it for any purpose outside of this application.
Select one of these Parkinson's Disease exercises to begin your session:
Extend your right arm perpendicular to your body. This exercise helps maintain shoulder mobility and coordination.
Lift your knees high while marching in place. This exercise improves balance and leg strength.
Open and close your hands in front of you. This helps maintain fine motor skills and hand coordination.
